April Birthday Lunch
All students born in the month of April are invited to celebrate and eat lunch together on Friday, 4/21 at 11:30 a.m. in the Art Room.
Middlefork Volunteer Assembly is April 13
Middlefork students will publicly express their appreciation to all of the volunteers who support our school everyday (cafeteria, library, field trips, PTO, Great Books, room parents, etc.). Parent volunteers, please join students and staff in the Middlefork large gym at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 13. The PTO will provide light refreshments in the small gym immediately following the student presentation. Please mark your calendars!
3rd Grade PARCC Testing Dates
Mandated state testing (PARCC) is scheduled for April 10-12 and 18-21. Most testing occurs in the morning. We greatly appreciate parents not scheduling A.M. appointments for 3rd graders on these days, as make-up testing is a challenge to schedule and results in students missing more instructional time.
2016-17 Yearbook Orders
A lot of love goes into making the Sunset Ridge D29 yearbook, and the Middlefork students are an integral part of the book. If you would like your child to receive a copy, you should pre-order as soon as possible at ybpay.lifetouch.com, using our school's Yearbook ID code (8471717) and your child's name. Typically, yearbooks are distributed on the last day of school and the children enjoy gathering autographs from friends and teachers. (FIRM ORDER DEADLINE IS APRIL 7, 2017.)
