Middlefork School Education Program

The Middlefork School mission is to cultivate a learning community that engages the hearts and minds of young students, one child at a time. At the center of each child’s learning community is the classroom curriculum. Middlefork classroom teachers deliver an age appropriate curriculum developed by teams of teachers, administrators, and community members through a collaborative committee process. The curriculum is research-based and developmentally appropriate, combining proven instructional methods with innovative techniques and aligned with national standards. The 1:1 student device environment supports technology as a ubiquitous tool for teaching and learning. Curriculum modifications and differentiation strategies for students of varying talents and ability levels are incorporated into all of our classroom-based programs. In addition, Middlefork students experience a rich arts education and regular physical education classes, foreign language instruction, academic interventions and extensions, character education and counseling, speech-language support and English Language Learning services.
